If buying multiple entries (for other people):
When you complete your purchase on this page, be sure to include their names in the 'notes' section.
This helps us match their names to the Strava leaderboard accurately!
How The Weekly Prize Draws Work
Once you've purchased a Feb Frequency Challenge entry, AND joined the Feb Frequency Challenge Strava Club, you can then log your Nordic activities inside the club.
We will be using the clubs Leaderboard to verify whether you have completed the 2 Nordic Ski Activities for the week.
It's important that you log a Nordic Ski activity on strava, otherwise the activity will not register inside the club. Bring a smart phone with you skiing, and have the strava app downloaded. When you click record, you will see 'Nordic Skiing' as an activity type.
Please note: It is your responsibility to log 'Nordic Ski' as your activity on Strava. We recommend testing that you're able to log a 'Nordic Ski' activity in January.
EXTRA DETAILS
When does the Week Start and Finish?
The week resets on Monday and finishes 9pm on Sunday (PST).
When do I need to ski 2 x per week?
Week 1 = Feb 3 - 9
Week 2 = Feb 10 - 16
Week 3 = 17 - 23
Week 4 = 24 - 28 (plus 2 more days in March**)
What do I do on Feb 1 and Feb 2?
Short Answer: Ski!!!
Long Answer: Remember that you need to log at least 10 Nordic Ski Activities inside of the month of February (to receive a $50 Coast Outdoors Gift Voucher). So get ahead of the game by using Feb 1 & 2!!
If I don't ski 2 x per week, have I failed?
No.. Failing to submit 2 activities in 1 week means that you do not enter the weekly prize draw for that week.
Remember that you have all of February to ski 10 times (in order to receive a $50 Coast Outdoors Gift Voucher!). So, use Feb 1 - 28 to complete this mission - We will be monitoring your activities (and tracking the amount of times you've skied on a monthly basis).
Can I record 10 Nordic Ski Activities ANYTIME in February, and get the $50 Gift Voucher?
Yeah... Technically you could go skiing 10 times on 1 day in February and still receive a $50 Gift Voucher... But there's no need to be a silly sausage... Use every day of February strategically. We want to see you consistently logging Nordic Ski activities, and encouraging others in the club to follow suit.
How will Coast Outdoors know if I've done the monthly challenge?
Each week we will be downloading a copy of the strava club leaderboard (to acquire a record of your work. We'll then use those records to validate if you've completed the challenge, or not!).
Will I receive an email if I win a weekly prize?
Yes, each week we will email everyone. Inside that email you'll find the list of prizes for that week (and who won - so don't forget to open and read the email!).
Is there a 1 stop shop for all the best Nordic Ski gear in Canada?
