The Women's Odyssey dry Suit is constructed of GORE-TEX Pro fabric. It features nylon waterproof front entry and rear relief zippers, 2 sleeve pockets, thigh pocket, a removable hood, removable suspenders, a pile-lined collar and reflective accents on the arms and hood. I am an experienced kayak guide and instructor and this is my first drysuit. Although I am thoroughly happy with its function I believe the product could be improved:
The knee and bum areas, as well as the socks, could use more reinforcement rather than just being a different color an added layer of protection would be very helpful since these areas tend to wear the most.
I have a medium drysuit and it came with small wrist gaskets and a large neck gasket. I think it would have been very nice to have an option for medium gaskets on both the wrists and the neck since I find both options just short of my ideal dimensions.
That being said this drysuit has definitely improved my kayaking experience and allowed me to adventure in places I would be hesitant to venture to before. It has also improved my training experience, letting me stay in the water for longer while staying happy and warm.
